The Opportunity
Position Purpose: This position is responsible for receiving, organizing, storing, issuing materials, and return product from the field. They are responsible for maintaining scrap consolidation areas, disposal, PCB inventories, and supporting documentation. Responsibilities:
a. Receive and unload incoming materials and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment. b. Perform a variety of routine shipping, receiving, handling tasks and perform administrative tasks associated with material and equipment handling programs, including data entry. c. Deliver items to requisitioning departments and obtaining appropriate signatures. d. Guide and train new storepersons and students on performing routine Stores work. e. Perform physical inventory and or cycle counts as required in order verifying correct inventory management. f. Enter, maintain and process logistics data in order to make the flow of goods and delivery data safe and efficient. g. Post the inward and outward movement in the inventory management systems with quality and storage location as well as information about irregularities, in order to ensure correct inventory management and be able to provide active help. h. Be On-Call as required and per Alectra On-Call schedule
a. Monitor quantities, complete visual checks, test storage conditions (temperature, humidity, storage environment) and weight, size and type of goods and take corrective action if necessary. b. Operate dolly, pallet truck, forklift and overhead crane in the loading and unloading of material and equipment. c. Perform monthly racking inspections as required
