We are searching for a Learning and Organizational Development Coordinator who is passionate and knowledgeable about education logistics and delivery. As an integral part of the Learning anWe are searching for a Learning & Organizational Development Coordinator to support the planning, implementation and evaluation of initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, workforce capability, and continuous improvement at Toronto Community Housing. This role works closely with the Manager of Organizational Development (OD) and collaboratively with team members to support change management, employee engagement, recognition, performance management, leadership development, succession and other organizational planning efforts.

What you`ll do
- Works closely with the Manager of Organizational Development and team members to support the delivery of OD programs, including the Performance Management Program, recognition and appreciation programs, leadership development programs, succession programs and the Change Centre of Excellence
- Facilitates and/or co-ordinates the implementation of training programs (in-class, e-learning and virtual), as required
- Maintains training calendar, curriculum, course content/material and training records (including compliance tracking) of OD training programs in the LMS
- Works with internal and external stakeholders to develop learning materials
- Develops mechanisms and tools to assess and evaluate learning initiatives
- Liaises between Finance and vendors to process invoices in a timely manner
- Provides administrative support to the unit including expense tracking
- Provides excellent customer service to all stakeholders across the organization and external vendors
- Other projects and duties as assigned
What you`ll need
- 2 years of experience working in a learning or organizational development context
- 1-2 years of experience in event planning and/or project management
- Knowledge of LMS and project management
- Experience in the development/implementation of training and development programs, assessment tools, training/curriculum design and evaluation
- Excellent written communication, presentation, facilitation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt positively to a changing environment and shifting priorities
- Strong focus on respectful and inclusive service
- Must be a self-starter who shows initiative, agility, flexibility and innovation
- Excellent time management skills in prioritizing work assignments and meeting tight deadlines
- Superior organizational skills; able to deal with multiple responsibilities effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Word and advanced experience with Excel and Power Point
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, which can include lifting and transporting equipment and materials under 15 pounds
Nice to Have
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management is preferred
- Knowledge of adult education
- Strong file management skills for both manual and electronic filing systems
- Knowledge of policies and legislation related to staff relations/development an asset (e.g. human resources policies, collective agreements, human rights, WHMIS, AODA, Health & Safety)
