Burnaby Golf Operations is seeking customer service-driven individuals to work seasonally in the Golf Division starting in early spring. Duties and responsibilities of Golf Services Assistants include but are not restricted to:
Work is performed in accordance with established policies and procedures, under the general supervision of a supervisor who evaluates performance in terms of accuracy and efficiency of work and services provided.
Qualifications include Grade 12 graduation, including or supplemented by standard commercial courses; plus some related public contact experience, preferably in golf operations, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Requirements include the ability to deal effectively and courteously with the public, working knowledge of cash register operations and related cash handling, retail sales and office procedures and some knowledge of golf course procedures and regulations including golf rules and etiquette. Driver's Licence for the Province of British Columbia, Class 5, is an asset.
