YOUR ROLE

As a Notary’s Legal Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, modifying and revising legal documents, particularly those related to real estate (mortgage, sale, release, etc.)
• Taking charge of the management of files from the opening to closing and ensuring a follow-up;
• Publication of deeds;
• Drafting correspondence and ensuring follow-up;
• Communicating with the various parties involved in the case and collecting information and documents;
• Managing the agenda, telephone calls and follow-ups with clients;
• Preparing and maintaining client files (correspondence, supporting documents, etc.);
• Performing general office tasks.

PREREQUISITES

• DVS in secretarial studies with a legal profile or any other relevant training;
• Experience in a similar position;
• Knowledge of RDPRM and land registry software, an asset;
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite;
• Good French grammar and basic English (spoken and written);
• Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines;
• Team player and good interpersonal skills;
• Discretion, meticulousness, and attention to detail.
