YOUR ROLE

As a paralegal, you will participate in real estate law files. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Prepare and amend various legal documents in real estate law and corporate law (contracts, reorganizations, continuances, dissolution, shareholder agreements, mergers, acquisitions, notices, etc.).
• Incorporate, register, organize, liquidate and dissolve companies and file corporate documents;
• Update minutes books;
• Assist lawyers in transactional files (assembling closing agendas, drafting resolutions, etc.);
• Conduct legal research in various registers (REQ, Land Registry, RPMRR);
• Draft due diligence research reports/memos;
• Prepare and assemble the required real estate documentation, maintain records and follow up with clients.

PREREQUISITES

• DCS in Paralegal Technology or any other equivalent education;
• Experience in corporate law required, real estate law (an asset);
• Good level of French, written and spoken, basic knowledge of English;
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
• Dynamic, discretion, and a strong sense of organization
• Good customer service and excellent interpersonal skills.
