The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned lawyers in large-scale merger and acquisition files.

YOUR ROLE

As a commercial law legal assistant, you will support lawyers in their various mandates. Your responsibilities will be varied and challenging and will include:

  • Prepare, modify and revise various and lengthy legal documents such as contracts, resolutions, shareholder agreements, etc.;
  • Prepare protocols, draft and modify letters and any other document dictated or prepared;
  • Manage the agenda of several lawyers as needed;
  • Enter time entries;
  • Prepare draft bills and monthly invoices;
  • Prepare electronic closing books.

 

PREREQUISITES

  • Experience within a law firm;
  • Good knowledge of French, spoken and written;
  • Knowledge of computer software, including the Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Team spirit and good interpersonal skills;
  • Autonomy, rigor, and attention to detail.
