Description

As a Junior Civil, Geotechnical or Geological Engineer you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of civil infrastructure, water resources and mining projects involving tailings and waste management, embankment and pit slope designs, water storage and conveyance infrastructure, storm water management systems and transportation infrastructure projects in Western Canada. This position is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Expand your capabilities and experience in site characterization, geohazard risk assessment and control, terrain analysis, tailings and water-retention dam engineering, numerical modeling, foundation design, mine waste planning, and earthworks design
  • Be involved in site investigation and drilling programs including core logging, lab testing, and instrumentation installation and monitoring programs including data review and analysis
  • Contributing to writing proposals, technical reports and general project correspondence
  • Collaborate with KCB employees from other offices in Canada and from our international offices on large, technically-complex projects

  • Travel to site locations, typically in Saskatchewan but also Alberta and other locations in Canada, the U.S. and abroad, as project requirements allow

If you have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Geological Engineering, are registered, or are eligible to register as an Engineer-In-Training in the province of Saskatchewan, and have up to 2 years of relevant experience, we want to hear from you!
