PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Under the responsibility of the Sales Director, the Representative will be primarily responsible for locating the sources of

recyclable products, targeting new customers for bulk and bundled material delivered to recovery and recycling centres.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct market analysis, target potential new customers and suppliers;

Soliciting by phone, email and on the road to obtain new customers and/or suppliers;

Sell the bulk and bundled cardboard pick-up service to local industries, businesses and institutions;

Follow up with customers and suppliers to ensure their complete satisfaction;

Be involved in business associations on its territory;

Follow up with clients to ensure payment is received on time;

Negotiate prices with suppliers and customers;

Preparing, writing and following up on customer bids;

Follow up with potential clients;

Resolve problems with customers and/or suppliers;

All other tasks required by his supervisor..

Ability to analyze and synthesize;

Ability to influence without being in a position of authority;

Sense of organization, rigor, autonomy and planning;

Good communication and interpersonal skills;

Sense of initiative;

Teamwork.

QUALIFICATIONS

ACADEMIC

Hold a DEC in administration, marketing or any other related field.

 

EXPERIENCE

Accumulate 3 to 5 years of experience as a representative.

Good knowledge of various computer software (Microsoft Office suite).

Experience in the recycling industry would be an asset.

LANGUAGES

Bilingual - French / English (advance level)
