Role and Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Engineering Supervisor, we are seeking for our Kruger Brompton Plant an Junior Mechanical Process Engineer who is able to organize, lead, monitor and coordinate daily maintenance operations in order to ensure the reliability of the Plant’s various mechanical facilities. More specifically, you will:

  • Promote good workplace health and safety and work environment practices;

  • Provide the necessary technical expertise to assist your team in resolving daily issues;

  • Use statistical data to analyze constraints (stresses, temperature, vibrations, pressures) to which mechanisms, machines and facilities are subjected;

  • Guide the Maintenance team in improving preventive and predictive systems for performance optimization and cost-reduction purposes;

  • Help reduce production unit downtime;

  • Replace the Foreman during vacation periods and leaves; and

  • Perform all other related duties.

Qualifications and Experience:

Are you a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec and do you have training in Mechanical Engineering?

Do you have relevant industrial maintenance experience in the manufacturing sector?

Are you outgoing and a team worker? Are you able to demonstrate leadership?

*Knowledge of computer systems and software (Office, JD Edwards) will be considered an asset.
