SE Health Staffing Solutions is Hiring:

Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses for full-time Contract positions in Burlington, ON.

We are seeking dynamic, and passionate Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses, to join our diverse and collaborative team. You will use evidence-informed nursing knowledge, skill, and judgment and work within the Nursing scope of practice to provide holistic nursing care to meet physical, safety, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care according to the College of Nursing Standards using the nursing process
• Provide direct patient care in a Hospital setting
• Work collaboratively and provide leadership to unregulated care providers for the delivery of quality care and ensure client safety. Assist in the monitoring of non-regulated care partners assigned to carry out the care plan, including supervising, teaching delegated tasks, coaching, and supporting
• Ensure that patient care is delivered in a way that maintains dignity, privacy, and promotes independence
• Actively participates in team/family meetings and collaborates effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for clients and families.
• Report directly to facility Charge Nurse
• Engage in training/learning opportunities as required.

Requirements:

•  Current registration with CNO in good standing.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience working in a Hospital setting
• Flexibility to work days, evenings or nights and weekends based on schedule line and/or operational needs
• Availability to work 37.5 hours per week on a contractual basis
• Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
• Effective problem-solving and conflict management skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills (other language skills an asset)
• Works well in a changing environment
• A satisfactory Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
• Valid BCLS
