SE Health is looking for a versatile and experienced Azure cloud and system administrator to join it’s IT Infrastructure team. You must have strong skillsets in leading cloud (Public and Private) platforms, as well as automation management tools such as Chef, Ansible, or Puppet. Excellent customer service while solving problems should be a top priority for you. SE Health is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. To be successful you’ll need to be a pro-active individual, take direction well, communicate and collaborate effectively.

Core Responsibilities:


  • Must have strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills in Azure and VMWare

  • Strong communication skills with customers, teammates, management, and vendors

  • Provide thorough ticket updates

  • Monitoring and alert response of customer environments

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently and simultaneously

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and change

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Ability to take tasks to completion


  • Follow ITIL practices regarding incident, problem and change management

  • Perform administration of various cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure - IaaS and PaaS services delivering storage, networking, identity and access management, compute, auditing, compliance

  • Perform administration of VMWare, Windows servers, and Linux Operating systems

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of all projects, technical procedures, best practices, and administrative processes

  • Perform the role of Windows Systems / Cloud administration

  • Contribute towards the development of IT Automation/Orchestration

  • Perform any additional tasks as required


  • Deploy new services and environments as required

  • Create, update and maintain internal build documents and runbooks

  • Help research, develop, and implement new services, tools, and software


  • 8+ years of experience in infrastructure management and design, with a focus on customer service and complex technical assistance

  • 3+ years of experience with cloud technology; IaaS, PaaS, DRaaS, and Microsoft 365, Intune

  • Experience with Scripting and Automation Technologies: Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, Puppet, Docker, Lambda, Python, System Center,

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts in the cloud: VPCs, Internet Gateways, ELBs, Routing and Peering, NSGs

  • 8+ years of Windows and Linux administration required with at least some of the following: RHEL, Ubuntu, IDP/SSO/SAML, MS IIS, MS Windows Server, MS SQL Server, MS Active Directory, Azure Active Directory

  • Experience with ticketing and monitoring systems

  • Experience with cloud native and traditional on premise backup and recovery solutions

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • After-hours availability required, evenings and weekends

  • On-call rotation required

  • One or more certifications, or experience with, or specialized training in related technologies: Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, RHEL, ITIL, Security +, Network +, MCSE, MCITP, etc.
