POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Sales Specialist drives and leads the sales program for our Retirement Residence. The Sales Specialist works directly with the SE Marketing team to develop a sales and marketing plan and uses their influencing and relationship-building skills, to drive site occupancy to 100%.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Sales Specialist anticipates client needs through active listening and work with them to identify the very best vision and lifestyle that best suits their individual needs. This individual is a proactive self-starter who is able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and develops and maintains relationships with our clients.

 Manage the sales process

  • Manage the entire sales process, and effectively close qualified prospects while actively managing the lead database and monitoring community waitlists.
  • Deliver a “Best In Class” sales experience partnering your creative sales expertise with SE Health’s proven sales process.

  Marketing and promotional activities 

  • Promote Millrise Seniors Village through outreach, marketing, tours and the coordination of events that showcase and promote Millrise Seniors Village as a residence of choice.
  • Work with the SE Marketing team to identify grassroots marketing and promotion opportunities.

 Community Relations 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the local community, current and prospective residents and the local healthcare community.
  • Develop strong/strategic partnerships with the local healthcare community

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Business Degree with a major in Sales, Marketing, Communications and or Public Relations, or a background in a service industry- related position
  • Five (5+) years of experience and proven success in direct sales
  • Customer and relationship building focused sales experience
  • Experience and ability in common business applications, including a CRM system
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel within the local community responsibility
