ABOUT OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE The OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE Department creates opportunities for improvement within the operations portfolio (national scope) and provides operational support to the field operations. The team specializes in the use of innovation and creativity in making sustainable transformation and change happen. This team has three main areas of focus: Business Intelligence, Process Improvement and Solution Design and Delivery. The Operational Excellence team is responsible for identifying, planning and implementing Information Management/Information Technology and Process based solutions in Operations; working in tandem with Operations, Information Services/Technology and the Mobility Team. This role is currently classified as hybrid where you would be mainly working remote, but may be asked to come into our head office in Markham as needed. POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the Director, Operational Excellence, the Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in leading initiatives, ensuring Service Delivery Centres & other lines of operations have a successful change management and transition to new or improved operational solutions. As well, you will participate in the training associated with new and existing technologies and processes to support operations. RESPONSIBILITIES
