Indigenous Health Lead, Ontario For more than 20 years the SE Health First Nations, Inuit and Métis Program has been working respectfully alongside Indigenous communities to co-develop / co-design initiatives, health service solutions and supports, education, resources and tools. The landscape of health care delivery is changing for Indigenous people across Canada, with the transformation of health care delivery to nation led solutions. The SE Health First Nations, Inuit and Métis Program firmly believes that Indigenous people, communities, and organizations have the answers to what is required to build solutions that meet their needs. Supporting communities and organizations to build these solutions is our goal. Reporting to the VP of Education and Indigenous Relations this important role will be responsible for strategic engagement with Indigenous people, communities and organization to identify how and where the SE Health First Nations, Inuit and Métis Program can meaningfully support Indigenous led health care solutions and programs. This position will also engage Ontario First Nations to meaningfully participate in Ontario specific initiatives being led by SE Health in areas such as telehealth delivery, virtual care, health innovations etc. Qualifications
