ROLE SUMMARY: Provide team leadership by maintaining staff coverage and providing coordination support to peers.
RESPONSIBILITIES: •Act as primary contact for Admin support to problem solve sick calls and book-offs •Assist Admin team to decide appropriate coverage for sick calls and book-offs to ensure manageable workloads •Provide team support by responding to immediate issues in scheduling. •Liaise with Oncall/District Supervisor to report issues and/or seek direction.
REQUIREMENTS: •Availability on request for evenings, days and weekends •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills •Ability to effectively interact with staff and management •Demonstrated customer service, problem solving and organization skills •Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks •Past experience preparing staff schedules is preferred •Minimum 2 year experience in a Service Coordinator role •Must be strong in all disciplines (Nsg, PSW, E-Rehab, Private Pay, CSR) •Must have knowledge of Champlain processes •Ability to develop SOP’s, Process Maps •Proficient in Microsoft office computer skills •Provide excellent critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills are necessary •Excellent Team building skills •Familiarity with community health care services and client service •Adaptability and an ability to deal with uncertainty •Ability to deal with tight deadlines •Proficiency in Procura, Celltrak, HPG and CIS is necessary •Exceptional organization, planning and time management skills
