(RSBC 1996, c. 468), the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (RSBC 1996, c. 165), applicable federal and provincial employment regulations and requirements, the University's nonacademic employment policies and applicable collective agreements. Under a lawful order made in that jurisdiction your personal information may be available to the government of a 3 foreign jurisdiction or its agencies. Therefore, Canadian privacy law protections may not apply. Additionally, your first name, middle initial, last name, and supplied email address may be used to create an account with PreValuate, a software vendor that creates competence skills tests, in order to assess candidates skills against the position’s qualification requirements. The results of testing and the information provided may be disclosed to the recruitment hiring panel to SFU Human Resources representatives to facilitate the hiring process. Disclosure Notice Pursuant to the British Columbia Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (RSBC 1996, c. 165), by providing your first name, middle initial, last name, and supplied email address you consent to SFU disclosing and storing the above identified information, as necessary, in order to create a skills testing account for you with PreValuate. You further acknowledge and understand that the above identified information will be disclosed to PreValuate and its subcontractors as needed solely for the purpose of testing your skill competencies against those competencies required by the applied for position. Your personal information will not be shared with PreValuate for any other purpose beyond testing for skill competencies. If you choose “I agree,” you give permission to Simon Fraser University to disclose the personal information you provide in your employment application to PreValuate for the purpose of providing the above mentioned service.
