- Qualified BCGEU employees are given first consideration in filling these positions.
- Regular employees contemplating applying for temporary positions should note that under Article 31.1, their former position is only protected when the employee has passed their initial probationary period. If the temporary position is in another area from their regular position, their regular position is only protected for a period of up to 18 consecutive months.
- Regular employees may not apply for another regular position at the University while serving their initial probationary period.
- It is the responsibility of all interested applicants to ensure that their application is submitted via the Employee Career Centre by 11:59 p.m. on the closing date of the posting.
- Once an internal posting has closed, late applications cannot be accepted via the Employee Career Centre.
