JOB TITLE: Inventory Instrumentation Technician

Purpose & Scope of The Position:
The job requires interacting with vendors, the public, and team members in a positive and proactive manner. Additionally, it involves providing necessary support to various lab groups by performing routine maintenance and inventory support to ensure that all groups are operational.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on Met & Assay equipment, grounds, and building.
- Keep an inventory of items, replace and reorder needed items, generate work orders, pick tickets, service requests, and other types of requisitions.
- Pick up and deliver items from the warehouse, escort site visitors for the Assay and Met groups, and supply site-specific training as required.
- Assist with snow removal, utilization of mobile equipment, general labor, and hole watch.
- Follow safe work procedures and best practices.
- Willingness to perform other duties as necessary to ensure the success of KGHM.
Required Education, Work Experience & Training:
- A valid Driver’s License.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Preferred Education, Work Experience & Training:
- A good knowledge of computers, familiarity with Word, Excel, Lims System and spread sheets is a plus.
- Familiarity with a lab environment is a plus.
- Candidate must be willing and able to learn and use JDE.
- Familiarity with general maintenance and maintenance of lab equipment.
Technical Skills:
- Basic maintenance skills.
- Good knowledge of computers, familiarity with Word.
- Ability to use Excel, LIMS and spread sheets.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, including drug and alcohol testing.
- Ability to meet the required physical demands, including exerting 75-100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 25-50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10-20 pounds of force constantly.
