The Lifeguard and Instructor Guard provide instructions and supervision of patrons, and maintain safe operation and maintenance at the municipal pool facilities.

Wage Lifeguard: $22.75 - $24.61 per hour (2026)
Instructor Guard: $27.69 - $29.95 per hour (2026)

Location Lindsay Recreation Complex and/or Forbert Memorial Pool (Bobcaygeon)
Hours Part-time hours range from 4 to 24 hours per week, including days, evenings, and weekends
Other Some travel throughout the City of Kawartha Lakes may be necessary in accordance with job requirements.

Current Red Cross Instructor, Lifesaving Instructor Qualification (Instructor Guards)
Upon a conditional offer of employment, a Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Search, will be required
