What you will be doing!
- Supporting the Supply Chain leadership through the Director/Manager, Supply Chain, or delegate, in coordinating annual operational planning including development of operational plans/planning documents. Monitor and report on program compliance and progress. This includes providing trend analysis and performance scorecard results and tracking of actions assigned to Supply Chain (SC) staff.
- Developing and implementing manuals, plans, procedures, operating instructions and mechanisms to support SC business operations and activities that adhere to corporate requirements.
- Monitoring and facilitating the implementation of the ImpAct program for Supply Chain.
- Track plans and schedules, perform risk analysis, identify and resolve critical path conflicts. Utilize milestone charts and other techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.
- Recommending mechanisms to support SC - CI activities that adhere to corporate requirements. Upon approval of recommendations, implement strategy and/or mechanisms.
- Drafting communications and Change Management plans and related messages.
- Undertaking administration of various SC projects and committees (ACCPOC- Resources- Make-Buy) on an as needed basis, which includes creating and maintaining records from meetings, and manage information and ensure that accurate and sufficient documentation exists.
- Participating in and lead where identified, the preparation and review of Company-Wide manuals, procedures, and program documents as required for the SC organization.
- Providing Administrative support, where and when needed to the Section.
- Facilitating the financial budgeting process, quarterly and monthly forecasting. Develop and monitor the organization’s operating budget, schedules, prepare monthly financial reports package and provide commentary on financial performance, opportunities and risks, and action plans for resolving variances. This includes assisting the line organizations with the analysis of Performance and Cost data reports and variances on a monthly basis.
- Preparing business operations/performance reports for senior/executive level management, to clearly articulate emerging issues and communicate planned courses of action.
What we are looking for:
- Education
- University Degree or Diploma from a recognized educational institute in Commerce or Business Administration combined with a minimum of 2 to 5 years of related and progressive experience; or equivalent combination of formal training with a minimum of 8 years of related and progressive experience is required.
- Experience
- Knowledge of strategic and operational planning processes, balanced scorecards and performance management.
- Demonstrated abilities in planning, scheduling, financial management, analysis and reporting. Skills and experience setting short and long term objectives and tracking performance, developing budgets, investigating anomalies and writing reports and be able to apply this knowledge within the framework of CNL's business processes and systems
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent leadership capability. Comfortable engaging with people and cross-functional teams to accomplish objectives, form new relationships, optimizing resources, and solving challenging problems.
- Outstanding organizational skills and oral and written communication capabilities. Ability to define and manage improvement projects and special initiatives with limited guidance. Adept at synthesizing complex information and distilling such information into clear and concise messages for written reports or oral presentations.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Strong computer skills. Advanced level capability in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Onenote, Sharepoint, and Outlook) MS Visio, ImpAct, and Atom. Able to learn/use other CNL applications.
- Highly self-motivated and team player. Comfortable performing duties based on broad general direction and minimal oversight and willing to work cooperatively with others.
- Interact effectively with a large and diverse group of SC staff at various levels, as well as interacting with CNL staff with diverse backgrounds and levels.
- Knowledge of CNL facilities and compliance programs.
- Ability to work effectively with personnel of varying disciplines in order to support own team as well as to contribute to positive relationships with other CNL Departments.
- Security clearance eligibility required:
- Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United States and/or the United Kingdom.

Location of Work - Remote
- CNL works with employees across Canada to enable a remote workforce where possible. Our work-from-home employees are provided with the equipment required to be successful: laptop, monitor, external keyboard and mouse, etc. Of course, we always love a visit to the site when possible!
