About the Role:

 

The City of St. Catharines is looking to fill various Student Administration positions for the upcoming season.

 

What You Will be Doing:

These responsibilities outline the principal functions of the position and serve as a guiding vision for the role's impact and contribution.

 

  • Respond to inquiries by the public at the counter and on the telephone
  • Open and process departmental mail
  • Prepare various correspondence and memos
  • Process payments and fees, balance and prepare deposits
  • Filing, data entry, faxing
  • Other miscellaneous clerical duties
  • Each position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic and a demonstrated commitment to enhancing a safety culture

 

About You:

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in full-time studies the semester preceding the summer and returning to full-time studies in September
  • Enrolment in an Administration Studies Program is preferred

 

 

Skills:

  • Cash experience and excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

 

Other Requirements:

  • Available to work commencing early May
  • Proven completion of Ministry of Labour Worker Health and Safety Awareness training. 
  • A demonstrated commitment to enhancing a safety culture.
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License.
  • Proof of education will be required upon hire.
