What You'll be Doing:
Under the supervision of the Design & Construction Engineer:

  • To assist with field investigations of municipal infrastructure and capital projects.
  • To assist with the collection and processing of data for municipal infrastructure and capital projects.
  • To assist with data input using ACCESS database and spreadsheets such as Excel.
  • To perform other general related duties as assigned.

What's Required:

  • Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering or related program.
  • Valid driver's license (G2 or G), a reliable vehicle, and good driving record.
  • CSA approved work boots are required for construction sites.
  • Must be willing to work both in an office environment and field work (construction sites).
  • Must be physically fit to perform field work.
  • Well developed written and verbal skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer software applications AutoDesk Civil3D and Microsoft Word, ACCESS, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of GIS applications is an asset.

This is an in‑person position and is not eligible for remote work.

Candidates selected for the position will be required to complete the Ministry of Labour’s Worker Health and Safety Awareness training and provide proof of the educational credentials listed on their resume and job application.
