About the Role:

Reporting to the Supervisor II, Cemetery & Golf, the Clubhouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and conducting the daily operations of the clubhouse including, but not limited to, scheduling and directing the staff to ensure proper coverage and excellent customer service is provided at all times. 

What You'll be Doing:

  • Perform a variety of tasks including the daily operation of the Clubhouse operations, preparing food and providing customer service.
  • Prepare the schedule for clubhouse employees ensuring appropriate coverage at all times.
  • Provide direction to the clubhouse team ensuring excellent customer service is provided to all customers.
  • Purchase and inventory of all products used in the clubhouse operations including food and beverage products as well as pro shop supplies.
  • Conduct daily clubhouse related maintenance, prepare and serve clubhouse food and beverages and prepare the kitchen as required.  
  • Receive and book tee times and golf carts, direct golfers as necessary, promote the golf course and ensure the course and clubhouse rules are respected, and golf rules and etiquette are followed.
  • Reports all issues and concerns to the Supervisor II, Cemetery & Golf.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What's Required:

  • Current Smart Serve and Safe Food Handling Certificate or a demonstrated ability to obtain both.
  • Experience in the food services industry, specifically as a facility supervisor.
  • Experience in the golf industry or a knowledge of golf is necessary, including golf rules and etiquette.
  • Experience in the preparation and serving of food and beverages.
  • Experience conducting payment transactions and providing excellent customer service.
  • Proven ability to work well with others.
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
