JOB OVERVIEW:  Academic Integrity Liaison

The Academic Integrity Liaison is responsible for conducting investigations into academic integrity violations and providing training and support to leadership, faculty, and staff around academic integrity violation cases, processes, and policy. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s degree in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a student support, student affairs, or other related role in higher education.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience conducting or supporting academic integrity investigations and developing academic integrity or other educational supports
  • Experience counselling or meeting with students around student conduct issues or other academic concerns
  • Knowledgeable about academic integrity policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Experience working with diverse student groups and complex academic integrity issues
  • Experience utilizing key university software, including enterprise student information systems and SharePoint
  • Experience and knowledge of working with sensitive student conduct issues and dealing with students or employees in distress
  • Knowledgeable about academic dishonesty prevention and detection strategies
  • Knowledgeable about educative and restorative justice approaches to academic integrity
  • Ability to travel domestically on occasion
  • Ability to work independently, make sound judgements and effective decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to handle sensitive and complex academic issues in professional, discrete, and diplomatic ways
  • Intercampus travel is required, possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is preferred
