About the Role
The Associate Director, Alumni Relations, Regional Alumni leads the execution of national and international alumni engagement and program growth at SFU. This position plays a critical role in enhancing SFU's brand and reputation by supporting institutional objectives in fundraising, recruitment, and alumni engagement, thereby strengthening the university's position among peer institutions. This role also creates and implements national and international alumni events and programs, driving growth through strategic implementation of culturally responsive, data-informed engagement. Additionally, this position build and cultivates influential partnerships with leadership and university stakeholders, establishing the integration of alumni engagement within SFU's advancement and recruitment efforts, employing effective metrics to evaluate and ensure success.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Arts, Business Administration or a relevant field, with six years of related experience in a leadership role within a multifaceted alumni relations program, encompassing strategic planning, program management, marketing & communications, events, fundraising, and relationship management, as well as experience in non-profit societies and boards, working with volunteers; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
