About the Role

The position will primarily focus on providing day-to-day support with project tracking and coordination ensuring that we continue to move forward smoothly on several key initiatives. SFU Alumni Relations is a highly collaborative team with multiple stakeholders across the institution. The team works in a hybrid model where 50% or more is spent in-person in the Burnaby campus.

Full Job Description

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Arts, Business Administration or Communications and two years of related experience in areas such as working with Indigenous and multicultural groups, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.  

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to support alumni inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills, including managing records, coordinating logistics, and supporting daily team operations.
  • Ability to manage small-scale projects from planning through execution, with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Blackbaud CRM is required, including the ability to accurately input, retrieve, and manage data to support alumni engagement and operational processes.
