Job Overview
Join the experienced and dynamic team responsible for developing law, policy and guidance for corporate finance market participants, and analyzing and providing recommendations on applications for exemptions from securities legislation. Working closely with other corporate finance professionals, you will represent the Commission on national and local committees and will provide advice or information to staff, Commissioners and the public about corporate-finance related policy and legal issues.

Salary Range:
The salary range for Legal Counsel (typically 2 to 10 years of legal counsel experience) is $119,768 (minimum) - $159,433 (midpoint) - $199,099 (maximum).
The salary range for Senior Legal Counsel (typically 10+ years of legal counsel experience) is $143,032 (minimum) - $185,756 (midpoint) - $228,479 (maximum).
The starting salary for this position will be determined considering the successful candidate’s relevant experience and education, salaries of other employees in the same salary range, market conditions, and other relevant factors. Starting salaries are normally below the salary band midpoint.
