Applications are invited for the position of Facilities Clerk in the Facilities Management Services department, located at the Welland Campus. The salary range is $26.77/hr to $31.01/hr (Pay Band D) for a 40-hour work week. Additional hours may be required as necessary.

Reporting to the Associate Director Facilities and Ancillary Services, the Facilities Clerk provides support to the Ancillary Services department in the areas of office moves, lockers, events, facilities, and projects operation for all College properties.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate furniture and staff relocations resulting from renovations
  • Coordinate and guide the moving services vendor to complete assigned tasks
  • Delivery, control, and monthly reconciliation of PPE inventory, furniture, and equipment
  • Work with supplier delivery services to receive and deliver furniture to appropriate locations
  • Administrate and complete work orders as required
  • Assign, track, and clear student lockers and provide maintenance to lockers as required

Qualifications:  

  • Two (2) year diploma in Office Administration or a related field of study
  • Minimum three (3) years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Superior organizational/time management skills with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong customer service approach
  • Advanced knowledge of software applications and databases
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand, crouch, walk and sit for extended periods of time
  • A valid Ontario driver’s license, class “G” and use of a personal vehicle
