Project details:

  • Opportunity located in the Bonnyville/Cold Lake area.
  • All day shifts.
  • 8 and 6 rotation. Shift runs from Wednesday to Wednesday. $300 shift rotation Travel Allowance
  • Travel to La Corey is required on Tuesday prior to 1st shift start.
  • 12 hours/day with last shift of rotation being 8 hours to allow for travel home.

What you get to do:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and complex instructions
  • Use your judgement and experience to perform careful and exacting work
  • Prepare pipe and fittings for tacking, hoisting, and rigging
  • Accurately select type and size of pipe
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe

In this role, the successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Journeyperson Steamfitter/Pipefitter
  • Valid Albertan Journeyperson Steamfitter/Pipefitter Certificate (Red Seal if out-of-province)
  • Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • CSTS-2020 Ticket
  • WHMIS 2015 Ticket
  • H2S Alive (Energy Safety Canada version required)
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWS) Certification (Energy Safety Canada version required)
  • Confined Space Ticket (Energy Safety Canada version required)
  • Fall Protection Certification (Energy Safety Canada version required)
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work in a high-pressure schedule driven environment
  • Must have your own transportation and be able to travel to client site location
  • Physically capable of performing all tasks required of Steamfitters/Pipefitters
  • Invested in a safety-oriented work environment
