Telecon is seeking an energetic, career-minded professional to join our growing team as a Talent & Culture Business Partner.

Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Corporate Finance, the Finance Business Partner plays a key role in monitoring and analyzing financial performance. They work closely with the financial and operational teams of Telecon Inc. group entities to provide relevant analysis and contribute to the consolidation of financial statements and strategic decision-making.

This full-time hybrid position includes a flexible group insurance plan and a company contribution to a group retirement plan from the first day of employment, as well as opportunities for growth and development.

This position requires the candidate to be fully bilingual in French and English in order to assist a group of French- and English-speaking clients. This skill is required on a daily basis and involves the ability to read, write, and speak fluently in both languages.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Record adjusting entries and other month-end accounting entries;
• Perform monthly and quarterly general ledger analyses;
• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements;
• Reconcile and analyze balance sheet items;
• Perform variance analyses and explain significant variances to stakeholders;
• Support administrative units in the monthly closing process;
• Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts;
• Optimize financial reports to facilitate decision-making and support growth;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and ensure their compliance with company policies;
• Participate in the preparation and documentation of annual audit files under IFRS, collaborating with external auditors, ensuring the consistent application of accounting policies, and performing the analyses and reconciliations necessary for the preparation of financial statements;
• Support the finance team in the completion of special projects, including the continuous improvement of processes.

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE THESE SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

• Five or more years of experience in a similar position;
• University degree in accounting;
• CPA professional designation;
• Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written;
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint);
• Knowledge of ERP D365 (an asset);
• Strong analytical skills and great attention to detail;
• Organizational skills, rigorous work methods, and ability to manage priorities;
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines;
• Team spirit and ease in collaborating with multiple stakeholders
