Telecon is seeking an energetic, career-minded professional to join our growing team as a Compensation Advisor.

The Compensation Advisor will support and participate in all activities related to the annual compensation cycle, including salary reviews, incentive planning, and pay equity analysis. The role is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and presenting a variety of compensation-related reports and insights to support informed decision-making.  In addition, the Compensation Advisor will collaborate with internal stakeholders on compensation governance initiatives, job evaluation and market benchmarking, and other compensation-related projects. 

This full-time hybrid position is mostly remote, requiring just 1–2 days per week in the office, and offers a flexible group insurance plan, company-matching RRSP from day one, and opportunities for growth and development.

This position requires fluency in both French and English to support French and English speaking clients. The role involves daily reading, writing, and verbal communication in both languages.

 

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Serve as a resource for the HR team on compensation-related matters
  • Manage the salary review process and actively contribute to budget recommendations
  • Conduct market benchmarking analyses and complete compensation and salary forecast surveys
  • Participate in the development of the salary structure and in drafting U.S. compensation policies
  • Actively contribute to pay equity maintenance exercises and ensure program compliance
  • Administer incentive plans
  • Support various annual processes related to performance management, talent management, compensation, and training (preliminary analyses, report generation, data consolidation)
  • Perform analyses and studies to support the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs, while staying informed about trends and legislation impacting compensation
  • Ensure updates to total rewards elements following collective agreement renewals
  • Contribute to projects, initiatives, and activities related to total rewards, benefits, pension plans, or policies
  • Act as a resource for the compensation module within the HRIS

 

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE THESE SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or industrial Relations
  • 5 years of relevant experience as a compensation analyst in Canada and U.S.
  • Strong analytical skills, rigor, integrity, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Knowledge of Taleo or similar systems (an asset)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills: user training, coaching, data presentation, report generation
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Fluency in French and English, spoken and written
  • Solution-oriented as well as analytical
