ACTING INSTRUCTOR

The West Vancouver Community Services Department has an opening for a casual Acting Instructor at the 55+ Seniors Activity Centre. This position will be responsible for:
· Teaching acting lessons for Seniors
· Creating lesson plans for a series of sessions
· Committing to 2 terms of instruction
· Enjoy working with Seniors.
The successful candidate will be responsible, punctual, and available to work various days including evenings and weekends. They will be self-motivated and works well with little supervision and have a combination of educational and professional experience in the performing arts.
The ideal candidate will be a certified instructor and have experience and/or training as an acting instructor. Previous teaching experience will be considered an asset.
The successful candidate is required to supply an acceptable police information check with vulnerable sector at their own expense.

Rate of Pay: | $30 per hour plus 4% in lieu of benefits, (can vary based on experience and qualifications) |
