Join our team as the Manager, Communications and Operations. This unique role requires not only top-notch communication skills but also leadership in channel strategy and management. Your organizational abilities and strong project management skills will be key to making it all come together seamlessly.

In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping our digital presence, ensuring our stories resonate powerfully across all channels and with diverse audiences.

Here's What’s on Your Horizon

Each day, you will work closely with the Communications and Marketing leadership team to:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive channel strategy and manage associated projects to meet our organizational goals.
  • Develop and manage the digital content strategy across platforms.
  • Manage our intranet from a UX perspective to ensure it is optimized, accessible and user-friendly.
  • Manage our social media team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Evaluate, create and enhance our social media strategy to ensure effective engagement and outreach with dynamic content tailored to a range of audiences.
  • Collaborate to produce and gather digital, video and static content for all digital channels including on-site digital screens, intranets and social media
  • Take a data-driven approach to analyze the effectiveness of digital content and make improvements as needed.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, driving the success of our communications initiatives.

Qualifications

If you hold a post secondary education or equivalent credential in Communications, Marketing and/or Social Media, or a related field, and 5+ years of experience in Communications/ Marketing specifically  in digital experience, channel and content strategy, and/or social media —along with leadership / supervisory experience- —we encourage you to apply.

Communications experience in an agency or similar academic, government, not-for-profit or corporate environment is highly desirable.

We are looking for someone who excels in communications, digital experience, and content and social media strategy. Proficiency in optimizing and managing intranet platforms and social media channels will be key to success in this role.
