Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, the position performs duties related to facility maintenance and public skating patrol for an assigned arena or community centre, ensuring safe operation of the building. This position involves a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings and weekends.
Principal duties include:
Skate Patrol
Maintenance
Successful candidates, who are new hires and/or who have not performed in this position previously will be required to provide a satisfactory criminal record check dated within the last 30 days as a condition of employment.
Successful applicants will be expected to provide their own ice skates, green patch work boots and purchase the Town of Oakville Uniform.
