What you get to do:
- Able to operate a Trucks with automatic and manual transmission and associated equipment including hand tools, power tools, hydraulic tools, mag drills etc. in a safe, responsible, and professional manner;
- Know and follow all road and other regulations;
- Perform pre-operational inspections including hazard assessments, calculating knuckle picker and other equipment capabilities and weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting;
- Operate the Picker and to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials.
- Perform routine maintenance;
- Drive to and from client sites; engage in trailer towing.
- Follows and complies with all internal company’s safety guidelines, policies & procedures;
- Participates in pre-job hazard assessments & inspections prior to commencing any job;
- Responsible for loading equipment, engage in manual lifting and properly securing loads in a manner that ensures compliance with weight restrictions and government regulations;
- To complete all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner, while following all federal hours of service regulations;
- To complete job tasks with personal and public safety as the top priority;
- Ensure correct equipment/rigging is chosen for the job; use guidance from Supervisor when required;
- Fully competent to do all types of Picker Truck work, Customer specific site work, and oilfield hauling, including rig moving;
