In this role, you will :

  • Receive clients’ calls and perform the complete cycle of intake for Community Health and Wellness programs.
  • Updating Client Information Management System (CIMS Database) to reflect all changes related to client profile.
  • Assign routes for MOW clients to allow volunteer drivers to have the most efficient schedule.
  • Schedule transportation requests for different areas in advance and continuing to make adjustment up to when the ride actually takes place.
  • Collect medical professional and financial information.
  • Operate mobile and radio dispatch devices to communicate with drivers.
  • Attend virtual and off-site meetings when needed, to gather updates and provide feedback to team members and management.
  • Input, creating and generating clients’ request for hot meals in in CIMS database.
  • Schedule and coordinating delivery of MOW service between clients and delivery drivers.
  • Enter all collected information on eligibility form and into CIMS.
  • Control and revised scheduled rides to increase efficiency of vehicles and drivers, scheduling as many rides as possible according to the time and location clients provide.

         

What we are looking for :

  • The minimum qualifications for this job are one to two (1-2) years of post secondary education and one to three (1-3) years of job-related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Working knowledge of Scheduling Systems/Databases.
  • Customer Service experience is an asset.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work flow.
  • Experience in a fast-paced and team oriented environment.

       

Working conditions :

  • The majority of the work is performed in an environment which is mostly clean and comfortable at the branch location in Barrie, ON.
