In this role, you will :
- Ensure that client services objectives and targets are met, monitor program delivery to ensure high performance standards and quality control.
- Assist in developing annual action plans for the client services team.
- Oversee the receiving, processing and tracking of client service requests, meeting Red Cross standards for timeliness and quality.
- Liaise with Talent Acquisition, Shared Services and Volunteer Engagement Experience regarding volunteer requirements necessary to achieve program objectives.
- Develop and implement volunteer retention and engagement activities.
- Select, supervise, and coach Lead Client Service volunteers in their role as volunteer supervisors.
- Contribute to and recommends modifications to systems designed to streamline, better secure or otherwise improve service delivery.
- Track financial and equipment donations and initiate corrective action when required.
What we are looking for :
- The minimum qualifications for this position are the completion of a two (2) year post-secondary diploma with a concentration in rehabilitation sciences, social services, business, and a minimum of two years of experience in volunteer management in a service-oriented capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in MS Office suite.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative approach to finding solutions.
- Ability to influence and lead others.
- Proven customer-service orientation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge and experience working in health programs is an asset.
- Experience working with a diverse population, and an understanding of cultural issues is an asset.
- Fluency in English is required, and fluency in another language is an asset.
Working conditions :
- Frequent travel around the lower mainland region.
- Valid Provincial Class 5 driver’s licence.
- Current First Aid Certification, or willingness to take training.
- Some work will be conducted during non-traditional work hours, (Saturdays).
