Baler Operator - As a member of the Corrugator team, the Baler Operator will bale waste material, load waste materials into trailers using forklift, input weight into QMS system for wet-end waste, and measure and record the weight of waste shipments.
The position requires you to work indoors and outdoors at various temperatures and in a fast-paced work environment.

1st Shift – Days

Pay Rate: $19.23/hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow all safety rules and practices;
  • Accurately weigh waste bales, and record bale weights on bale tallies;
  • Load waste bales into trailers using forklift;
  • Feed waste into the shredder / hogger;
  • Obtain waste loads from production areas as directed;
  • Maintain a clean and organized baler room;
  • Load seconds and other non-shredded waste into trucks for shipment;
  • Work with returned goods;
  • Clean the baler and notify maintenance of problems as necessary;
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Corrugator Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Prefer Minimum 6 Months experience in a manufacturing type environment.
  • Prefer Forklift Experience
  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as, but not limited to, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, and safety toe shoe
