Reporting to the Supervisor of Business Applications, the Enterprise Solutions Specialist is responsible for ongoing functional support, planning, design, and implementation of business related projects in the organization's key financial systems (ERP JDE) and integrated third party solutions (Insight, ReportsNow, STR, Viziya, Sisense, Power Bi, Taleo, and Time Clock Plus).  The successful candidate will most likely work remotely in the US or Canada.

Responsibilities Include:

Ensure business continuity by providing day-to-day functional JDE and third party application support.

Deliver Business Intelligence (BI) and other types of reporting required by the business.

Ability to manage service requests (includes onboard/offboard security setup) and inquiries from business, as well as capturing and updating all support related changes, incidents and problems in IT helpdesk tool.  

Functional subject matter expert on any HR/Payroll/Maintenance business driven project by providing system, third party integrations and process solutions.

Lead third party developers and/or functional consultants on support activities to deliver minor enhancements or mandatory updates/fixes.

Perform continuous research on new systems and/or new functionalities/capabilities that can potentially help improve efficiencies in our existing business processes.

Assist the business on performing some of their most critical business processes; i.e. US yearend activities (December - February) and bi-monthly US payroll activities support.

Oversight on JDE user security configuration.

Responsible for supporting key applications upgrades such as Vertex, STR, Viziya, etc.

Prepare and deliver business processes documentation as required.

Document customized JDE Procession Options and other relevant system settings.

Create user manual guides and deliver training sessions (including manuals, UPKs, etc).

Work Experience Required:

Minimum 10 years of experience supporting JDE ERP application (functional support).

Minimum 5 years experience leading or being the SME of a JDE Major Upgrade and/or other business driven projects (to implement new functionalities or enhance existing business processes in JDE).

Minimum 5 years of experience creating JDE reports via third-party solution (e.g. Insight, ReportsNow)

Minimum 2 years working the Business Intelligence solution(s).

Education Required:

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area or work experience equivalent (minimum 15 years)

Special Skills and/or Knowledge Required:

JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.2 advanced system knowledge (security setup, key functionalities and configuration of HCM and CAM modules).

SQL knowledge to perform medium complex inquiries and updates to database tables.

Strong knowledge on third party JDE integrated solutions such as STR, Viziya, Vertex

Proven knowledge on major BI solution(s).

English language fluency.
