Five positions to be filled
École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS Montréal), one of the three largest engineering education and research institutions in Canada, is launching a Call for External Applications for five Research Chairs.
The objective of the Marcelle-Gauvreau Engineering Research Chairs Program is to elevate the careers of talented researchers by focusing not only on their research contributions but also on their determination and proven resiliency in both their personal and professional lives . ÉTS recognizes that the ability to persevere in the face of adversity and the capacity to rebound from setbacks are essential elements for a successful career in research.
Funding for the research program
Each selected candidate will be hired as a Professor in a tenure-track position. In addition to the Chair holder’s salary, the funding available for carrying out the proposed research program will include $100,000 per year for a period of 5 years. The majority of this funding must be assigned to bursaries and salaries for the Chair holder’s research team.
