This is a unique once in a lifetime opportunity that offers a combined study and work program, completing your Bachelor's degree in Applied Science (marine engineering) while gaining 18 months practical seatime experience on the CSL Australia fleet;

What you will need to apply:
Evidence of acceptance to, or current enrollment in, the Bachelor of Applied Science (Marine Engineering) degree at the Australian Maritime College, University of Tasmania;
Eligibility to obtain a Maritime Safety Identification Card;
Physically capable of meeting the medical fitness requirements as set out by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA);
A passion for working at sea, and ability to work at sea for extended periods (6-10 weeks);
Excellent team work skills;
Strong communication skills - understanding and following instructions;
Good planning and organisational skills;
Self-motivated, mature and responsible attitude;
Previous maritime experience will be desired.
