POSITION SUMMARY
The Cyber Compliance Analyst is responsible for evaluating, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. This role involves conducting assessments, monitoring security systems, and collaborating with internal teams to address compliance gaps and mitigate risks.


RESPONSIBILITIES
•Conduct regular assessments of the organization's cybersecurity posture to identify compliance gaps and vulnerabilities.
•Interpret and apply relevant regulations, standards, and frameworks (such as NIST and Law 25) to cybersecurity practices.
•Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with compliance requirements.
•Monitor security controls and systems to ensure effectiveness and compliance with established policies and standards.
•Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement security measures and remediate compliance issues.
•Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, regulations, and best practices to inform compliance efforts.
•Participate in audits and assessments conducted by regulatory bodies, clients, or third-party assessors.
•Provide guidance and training to employees on cybersecurity policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
•Generate reports and metrics on compliance status, vulnerabilities, and remediation efforts for management and stakeholders.
•Continuously improve the organization's cybersecurity posture through proactive risk management and compliance initiatives.


QUALIFICATIONS
ACADEMIC
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.

Advanced certifications (e.g.: CISSP, CISA, CISM) are a plus.


EXPERIENCE
•Proven experience (1-2 years) in cybersecurity or compliance roles.
•Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations, standards, and frameworks (e.g.: GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, ISO 27001).
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex technical and regulatory requirements.
•Experience with security assessment tools, vulnerability scanning, and risk management frameworks.
•Familiarity with security technologies and controls (e.g.: firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, access controls).
