Reporting to the Quality Superintendent, the Document Controller will assume responsibility for Stuart Olson’s Quality Management System’s policies, procedures and values.
This position is based in the Fort McMurray, AB area on a client site.
Candidate must be local to the Fort McMurray area
Turnaround project support until Fall 2020 with strong potential for extension
8 hour day shift for 5 days on 2 days off
Full time office role
Maintains document registries.
Receives, stamps, dates, and logs drawings and distributes them to appropriate Stuart Olson personnel.
Creates and sends transmittals to clients and subcontractors.
Ensures all superseded drawings and documents are removed from service.
Assists in the maintenance of as-built drawings.
Supports the construction and quality teams with document requests.
Assists in the creation, organization and filing of turnover documentation.
High school diploma
1-2 years’ experience working with document management software and having completed as-built drawings in Bluebeam or Adobe Pro
Valid drivers license with clean driver’s abstract
Superior knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Internet
Highest standard of professional ethics, confidentiality and integrity
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks independently with strong time management skills to meet deadlines in a high pressure environment
