Project details:

  • Local modular yard opportunity in Nisku
  • 5 and 2 rotation, Monday to Friday, all day shifts, 10 hours a day

What you get to do:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and complex instructions
  • Use your judgement and experience to perform careful and exacting work
  • Prepare pipe and fittings for tacking, hoisting, and rigging
  • Accurately select type and size of pipe
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe

In this role, the successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Prior experience in a mod yard setting is preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Apprentice 2nd or 3rd year Steamfitter/Pipefitter
  • Valid AIT Steamfitter/Pipefitter Certificate
  • Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • CSTS-2020 Ticket
  • WHMIS 2015 Ticket
  • Fall Protection Ticket
  • Elevated Work Platforms Ticket
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work in a high-pressure schedule driven environment
  • Must have your own transportation and be able to travel to our Nisku location
  • Physically capable of performing all tasks required of Steamfitters/Pipefitters
    Invested in a safety-oriented work environment
