The Town of Oakville – Oakville Museum is looking for a part-time instructor to lead Drama/Performing Arts Summer Camps from July 6 – August 21, 2026.
Job Responsibilities:
The Part time Specialized Instructor/Arts and Culture is responsible for preparing program outlines and providing instruction (demonstrating techniques and introducing contemporary performing arts practices) in specialized drama camps to children 7-12 years. The successful candidate must be reliable, work independently with minimal supervision, meet all program goals and will be expected to assist in developing curriculum. They will also ensure that the program is conducted in a safe environment that encourages participation and personal development.
You will also be required to:
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must possess valid Standard First Aid with CPR C (Emergency First Aid) certification.
Applicants should highlight their post-secondary education, and experience leading/teaching school-aged children in drama programs. Candidates will be required to provide a portfolio which outlines these skills including sample lesson plan(s).
