In-Office and Virtual Positions

When people think of the Red Cross, they often picture our emergency efforts on the ground. But in fact, team of dedicated staff with a wide range of specializations supports our humanitarian mission by facilitating our day-to-day operations.

These roles are critical and help ensure that we are always prepared and equipped with the right tools and resources for the next crisis.

Many team members work virtually or in a hybrid working model.

Volunteer Positions

Volunteers make up more than 70% of the Canadian Red Cross. Whether you want to learn a new skill, meet new people, experience something meaningful, or simply help where help is needed, volunteer opportunities are as diverse as people who fill them.

Across the country, Canadians depend on us to assist them when they need help. We're only able to respond because of people like you. With our training, guidance and support, you can get involved in improving the lives of your neighbours and those in need across Canada.

Delegate Positions

Our international delegates are highly skilled people doing extraordinary things in the regions in need of the world. They respond to emergencies (natural disasters or conflict) or work alongside partner national societies on development projects to improve the lives of  people in need by mobilizing the power of humanity in Canada and around the world.
